Poemtura on the Mute Swan (Cygnus Olor) April 19, 2017 Ranganatha Sitaram Poems with Paintings, Uncategorized Leave a comment If there was a misnomer You are its embodiment; Mute Swan You are hardly quiet. . You trumpet, you snore You grunt, you growl; After hisses and whistles You fly away with loud rhythmic sounds. . You are fearsome A big bully For you chase away Little ducks and geese. . Yet you are an elegant Pearly bird; Grand and graceful Much loved and admired. ~~~*~~~ Share this: Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook More Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Like Loading...
