ನಗೆಯು ತಂದ ಮೋಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ನಲಿಯಿತೆನ್ನ ಜೀವ

ಬಾನ ಹಕ್ಕಿ ಹಾಡೋವೇಳೆ, ಉದಯ ರವಿಯು ಮೂಡುವ ವೇಳೆ

ನೀನು ಬರುವ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಹೃದಯ ಹಾಸಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವೆ

In the emerging dawn, as birds´ chorus fill the skies

I unroll my heart´s carpet in your path.

ಮರದ ನೆರಳ ತಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಡಿಲ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ,

ತಲೆಯನಿಟ್ಟು ಮಲಗಿರುವಾಗ, ಸ್ವರ್ಗ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಕಾಣುವೆ

In the cool shelter of trees, upon the soft bed of your lap

I lay my head and right there find the heavens.

Draped in a verdant Sari, donning a floral Tilak

Is the ineffable splendor of this sylvan deity.

ಹೂವ ಸಂಗ ಕೂಡಿ ಆದಿ, ಕಂಪು ಕದ್ದು ಮೆಲ್ಲನೆ ಓಡಿ

ತೂರಿಬಂದ ಗಾಳಿಯಂತೆ, ಬಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಳಲಿ

ನಿನ್ನ ಚೆಲುವ ನೋಡಿ ನೋಡಿ, ಮೈ ಮರೆತೆ, ಮನ ಸೋತೆ

Pleating a floral bouquet, fleeing softly with the fragrance

Like a wafting zephyr, you came into my life

Seeing your elegance, I lost myself, I lost my mind.
