POEM: The luscious pulchritude

Ranga Sitaram

Painting: Watercolor on Paper, 16×20 inches each.

The luscious pulchritude

That once with vivacity shone,

Withers with inevitable age

And loses its lustrous sheen;

Yet beneath its wrinkled skin,

And behind its failing eyes,

Lies deep the marvels of

A life fully lived.
